Diabetic Support Group at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital

Hallmark Health, in partnership with its physicians, is offering one-hour Diabetic Support Groups that will provide peer-to-peer support for people with diabetes and their guest; a care giver, family member or friend. A diabetes nurse educator will facilitate the groups with help from Hallmark's Diabetes Self Management Team. You will have access to informational handouts, as well as occasional guest speakers such as Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Ophthalmologists and Podiatrists.

The goal of the group is to offer you an opportunity to meet and talk with other people who live with diabetes in order to exchange ideas and gain support from others who are also trying to cope on a daily basis.

These groups are free. Walk-ins are always welcome. Call our recorded line, (781) 338-7759 for the current agenda and meeting updates.
