Bento Boxty links Irish musicians from the Boston area with award-winning traditional musicians from Ireland, Providence, and California. The group's line-up is: Bridget Fitzgerald (vocals), recognized as a Master Artist through the National Endowment of the Arts; Joey Abarta (Uilleann pipes), national and international medalist on Uilleann pipes; Sasha Hsuczyk (fiddle), who performs nationally and internationally; Armand Aromin (fiddle and tinwhistle), a fiddle champion and national and international performer; John Coyne (bouzouki and guitar), from Limerick, Ireland and Lisa Coyne (flute and vocals), from Boston, a husband and wife duo who perform throughout the greater Boston area; and the band's newest member, Josie Coyne (fiddle), who is eleven-years-old and studies at the Boston Comhaltas Music School, and has recently performed at the Skye Theater in Maine, and the Irish Heritage Festival in Dorchester this October.

The Coynes, Bridget Fitzgerald, and Joey Abarta are currently living in Melrose.  All performers listed are teachers of music, either independently, or with the Hanafin Cooley Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann in Boston.  Even Josie has helped co-teach tinwhistle at St. Mary's Parochial School in Melrose this past Spring.
