Fire in Stillman Road Home Knocked Down Quickly

Melrose firefighters responded to a fire at 16 Stillman Road around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Firefighters on scene reported at 6:11 p.m. that the fire had been knocked down and they were checking to see if the fire had extended anywhere else in the home. The Fire Department had also notified Natioanl Grid.

According to the City Assessor's database, the home is a small cape-style house built about 1948.
