Freecycle Tuesdays: Five Free Deals in Melrose [July 5]

The Freecycle philosophy is simple: Offer something to others that you no longer need; take something off of someone's hands—all for free. It's like a yard sale fell in love with recycling, got married and had a baby named Freecycle.

Here is just a sampling of some of the deals we found offered this week. Note: Offers change all the time or are taken quickly.

1) One tall dresser, one wide dresser: With mirror available. Owners are downsizing extra furniture collection. Dressers are sturdy (Thomasville) but have some damage. Offered by "discohoggirl."

2) Hamilton Beach Brew Station: "This is a 6 cup coffee maker that dispenses one cup at a time, I love it but we needed a 12 cup for all our coffee drinkers." Offered by "rdix55."

3)Decorative flower pots and various gardening supplies: Different types of flower pots and fertilizer,vermiculite, peat moss etc. Offered by "ediemooers."

4) Toddler swing: Blue, plastic toddler swing.Has belt to hold child in place and front piece slides up to easily place child in swing. Includes rope to hang it. Has been outside so just needs to be washed. Offered by "pandsrlestate."

5) Adjustable walker: Aluminum walker with wheels, adjustable to different heights. Nearly new—used once. Offered by "iscahdemerlis."
