Garden Remedies, Melrose's New Pot Shop, Gets Open Date

MELROSE, MA — The grand opening for Melrose's new pot spot has been set. The Malden Observer reports Garden Remedies, the medical marijuana dispensary nestled in a corner of Melrose and flanked by Malden and Saugus, will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, Oct. 12.

The Melrose Planning Board in April approved the special permit for Garden Remedies, which also has a Newton dispensary.

There is a moratorium on whether Garden Remedies can pivot to recreational marijuana sales in Melrose. The moratorium is over at the end of the year, when it could be discussed.

The Garden Remedies grand opening will be from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
