Grace Anonymous Meetings Arrive in Melrose

Something new is coming to Melrose: Grace Anonymous. At this meeting, people share their experiences with the divine. Like with other Anonymous groups, the meeting provides a place for mutuality, confidentiality, and honesty. And like with other Anonymous Groups, the meeting forbids commentary, advice, or judgment. When sharing, participants are encouraged to speak with humility and mindfulness. When listening, participants are expected to be kind and neutral. And after the meeting, participants are expected to show confidentiality. Grace Anonymous offers a place for people to be honest about their own spiritual journey, be it non-existent or extensive. Grace Anonymous is not a place for right and wrong answers, but rather, a place for questions --since no one person’s experience with the divine is the same as another.

The groups meet on Friday @ 7 PM. The location is the Coffee Hour Room at First Baptist Church, which is located at 561 Main Street in Melrose. People learn more about at www.gracenonymous.org.

Grace Anonymous is a Melrose-based, innovative approach to discussing spiritual matters. It just began this month. While organizations focusing on spiritual matters and Anonymous meeting are both common, there is no widespread effort to combine the two – until now.
