Ice Cream Shop 'Like No Other' Opening In Melrose Next Month
Opening where the old Honey Dew was, this traditional ice cream shop will have some things setting it apart, one of the folks in charge said

MELROSE, MA — Say what you want about pizza shops, nail salons and coffee shops, but you can never have enough ice cream. Kennedy's Ice Cream Bar will open in June in the old Honey Dew spot in the Whole Foods plaza on Main Street, and according to the folks in charge, it's going to be one of a kind.
Christine Kennedy said the ice cream will come from Blake's in Manchester, N.H. There will be soft serve with a "unique Belgian chocolate dipping station of 12 flavors" and toppings.
The style is "going to be like no other," Kennedy said. She didn't give details, but said they are working with a local artist.
