Kate Lipper-Garabedian has Earned My Vote through Her Actions

I am writing to express my support of Kate Lipper-Garabedian for Councilor-at-Large. In a small town, sometimes you have a personal connection to a candidate, and this inspires your support. However, sometimes there is a candidate that you meet solely through their campaign and learn their qualifications and stance on issues and you immediately feel moved to support them. This is the case for me with Kate Lipper-Garabedian.

I met Kate when she campaigned for her first term as Alderman-at-Large and was impressed with her strong background and her passion for improving our city. She stood out to me as someone who was a great listener and truly understood her role as representative of our city’s ENTIRE population and perspective. In her first term, she stayed true to her campaign.

Kate is everything you want in an elected official. She communicates city-wide issues to residents, seeks their input, and listens carefully to her constituents. When she votes on issues, she is very thoughtful in her decision making and is not afraid to vote against the majority if she feels it’s the right decision to do so. I feel lucky to have met her and have her represent us as Alderman-at-Large, now Councilor-at-Large. She has earned my vote through her actions and I hope all residents have a chance to learn more about Kate.
