Letter: Monica has a true love for this community

I had the opportunity last month to meet Monica Medeiros who is one of the three candidates for Mayor in the upcoming election. Her honest and practical approach sets her apart from the other candidates. Monica is a lifelong resident of Melrose and has shown great concern for the residents of the community as evidenced by her many years of public service. Her willingness to listen to people's concerns is commendable and her honesty was refreshing. Monica has a true love for this community and a desire to tackle the challenges this city is facing.

I am writing today to show my allegiance and support for her campaign. It is my intention to vote for Monica and I was so impressed that I want to spread the word about her abilities and competence. Good luck Monica! I am confident that you will succeed. The city of Melrose would be lucky to have you serve as our mayor.
