Letter: Our friend was right: Monica is the one

Our good friend first told us about Monica Medeiros Solano. He told us that she is honest, and that she will get things done. He was right, and Monica is our enthusiastic choice for Mayor.

Monica is a lifelong resident, and that’s important. Although we’re not lifelong residents ourselves, Melrose is our home now, and we want someone committed to Melrose.

It is not just that. It is her financial background. Monica’s financial experience both in the private sector and in municipal government are what we need right now to get our fiscal house back in good order.

Monica listens to people. She really listens, thoughtfully with empathy, and she tries to find solutions.

We are confident in our choice and hope you will join us in voting for Monica Medeiros Solano for Mayor on September 19 and again in November.
