Melrose Frozen

Can you hear the whisper of the wind blowing through the snow covered bare tree limbs?

Can you see the sunshine bright in the sky creating diamond glows on the icy streets and frozen cars?

The air itself is icy and threatening for those that venture out.

The wind has picked up making the branches dance to a music I cannot hear; and bits of frozen snow fall to the ground.

The statue by the pond is frozen in time; waiting, waiting as we do...for spring.
