Melrose High School Band to Play in Nation's Capital

The Melrose High School Marching Band will represent the state of Massachusetts at the 2016 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. on May 30, 2016.

The American Veterans Center and Music Celebrations International selected Melrose to participate in the event. U.S. Representative Katherine Clark nominated the band.

Melrose will be among 50 bands, representing each state across the country.

Band Director Matthew Repucci and his musicians will march down Constitution Avenue toward the White House when they attend the special celebration.
