Melrose High School Video a Finalist in PSA Project Contest
The video, titled "I'm Worth More," was one of five finalists in the annual event.
A video by Melrose High School, titled “I’m Worth More,” was one of five finalists in the the seventh annual PSA Project sponsored by Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Middlesex Partnerships for Youth, according to a press release.

The winning video was created by Somerville High School freshman Karis Morales and titled “What Happened to Being a Princess?”

More than 140 students worked on the 49 videos in the contest, and the winning video debuted on New England Cable News This Morning. The video finalists were chosen by school personnel, law enforcement officials and the staff of Middlesex Partnerships for Youth.

More than 3,000 Middlesex County students then watched the five finalist videos and voted for the winner.

- International School of Boston, Cambridge
- Somerville High School
- Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Westford
The “I’m Worth More” theme lets students explore healthy relationships, focus on self-respect in dating relationships and recognize unhealthy relationships. The project was created by Middlesex Partnerships for Youth.
