The Melrose League of Women Voters hosted a candidate forum for all contested positions on Thursday October 12th at Melrose City Hall The well attended event was divided into 4 panels- with the four School Committee candidates at the top of the program, followed by two separate panels of City Council candidates. Ward 6 candidates, Barbara Travers and Cal Finocchiaro were not included due to the last minute unavailability of one of the candidates and the League's empty chair rule.The two Mayoral candidates Jen Grigoraitis and Monica Medeiros Solano made up the final panel, trading quick answers to the moderator's questions.
