Melrose Man Is 'Lucky For Life'
A local guy won a crazy lottery prize - and he bought the winner right here in Melrose.

MELROSE, MA — A local man finally picked up his winnings after netting a major lottery prize last month. Alexander Wilson of Melrose will get $25,000 a year for life (except for those pesky taxes) after winning the Lucky for Life game on the April 4 drawing.
While many big-time winners take their winnings in a giant lump sum, Wilson chose the anuity option to get the payments each year. He told the Massachusetts State Lottery he's going to use some of the winnings to fund his ironman race passion.
Wilson bought the Quic Pic tcket at Garniss Market on West Emerson St. The store gets $5,000 for its sale.
