Melrose Men Allegedly Involved In Massive Drug Pipeline Indicted
There were several indictments related to a huge cocaine and marijuana pipeline that authorities said began in Mexico.
Several men — including two from Melrose — allegedly involved in the massive Mexico-to-Massachusetts drug pipeline bust from June have been indicted by a grand jury, the Middlesex DA's Office announced in revealing recent indictments.
Jordge Delago-Rivera, 40, and Maritza Medina, 39, both of Melrose, were indicted on drug charges in connection to a bust that resulted in the seizure of two kilos of cocaine and three pounds of weed. You can read more about that drug bust here.

Delgado-Rivera was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to traffick cocaine, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Medina was charged with conspiracy to traffick cocaine, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

- Leonel Garcia-Castaneda, 36, of Mission, Texas, was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to traffick cocaine, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
- Adika Manigo, 38, of Boston, was charged with conspiracy to traffick over 200 grams of cocaine. Jairo Salado-Ayala, 37, of Lynn, was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to traffick cocaine, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
- Mark Yarde, 37, of Boston, was charged with conspiracy to traffick over 200 grams of cocaine.
- Brandon Ortiz, 22, of Lynn, was charged with money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
