9:27 a.m. Past breaking and entering on East Wyoming Avenue.
2:34 p.m. Pole on West Hill Terrace ready to fall over. National Grid called.

5:37 p.m. Hurd Street property owner requests assistance ex-tenant on property. A 45-year-old Melrose man was issued a summons on charges of malicious destruction of property worth more than $250 and threat to commit a crime.
6:47 p.m. Pleasant Street resident reports that machinery parked on his front lawn is doing damage to his property.
Tuesday, Aug. 30
9:29 a.m. Report of 18-wheelers causing a hazard on Lebanon Street at Sylvan Street. Officer explained they had to move or how to take other safety precautions.
2:52 p.m. Officer received another raccoon sighting report on Pleasant Street, requests assistance from animal control. Officer corralled the raccoon and the animal is awaiting animal control.
5:30 p.m. Walk-in report regarding damage to property on Heywood Avenue caused by neighbor. Ongoing problem.
6:31 p.m. Walk-in report from Warwick Road of a woman and her dog that was bitten by another dog.
6:42 p.m. Stolen vehicle reported from East Foster Street at Main Street.
7 p.m. Dog bit reported from Perkins Street. Advised to seek medical treatment; police will follow up with animal control officer.
Wednesday, Aug. 31
3:22 a.m. Car rollover at West Wyoming Avenue at Whittier Street. Driver stated he was traveling west on West Wyoming when a dog ran into the road. He swerved to avoid the dog and hit a tree, and the vehicle ended up turning over. Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau said driver was responsive and spoke to officers at scene.
12:33 p.m. Domestic dispute on Greenwood Street.
2:44 p.m. Kitchen fire on Boardman Avenue.
6:14 p.m. Walk-in report from Orient Avenue of harassment.
7:58 p.m. 911 transfer from Mass. State Police for a domestic disturbance at Mount Vernon Street apartment building. Lonnie E. Jones, 45, 10 Mason St., Nashua, NH was arrested on the charge of assault and battery and on three warrants.
8:52 p.m. Domestic disturbance on Crescent Avenue.

7:34 p.m. Reported domestic disturbance in emergency room parking lot. Officer reports problem resolved.
9:01 p.m. Caller reports a man sleeping on his front lawn on Mooreland Road. Person gone upon arrival of officers.

A 30-year-old Stoneham man was issued a summons on Thursday, Sept. 1 on the charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
A 27-year-old Lowell man was issued a summons on Friday, Sept. 2 on the charge of larceny under $250.
A 38-year-old Lynn man was issued a summons on Saturday, Sept. 3 on the charge of larceny over $250 by single scheme.
