8:17 p.m. Report of intoxicated male walking east on Upham Street. A 49-year-old Saugus man was placed into protective custody.

Thursday, Oct. 13
10:03 a.m. Dispute between two workers on Mount Vernon Street.
10:40 a.m. Report of a vehicle accident on Berwick Street. A 55-year-old Melrose resident was issued a summons on the charge of leaving the scene of property damage.
11:16 a.m. Robbery in progress at East Emerson Street and Lebanon Street. Car stereo reportedly stolen from vehicle.
3:01 p.m. Multiple trash dumpings on Swains Pond Avenue. notified.
3:20 p.m. New trash dumping at on Tremont Street. DPW notified.

12:38 p.m. Tree blocking Maple Terrace and touching electrical wires. DPW notified, hazard removed.
12:59 p.m. Car accident on Main Street, one transported to hospital, car towed.
Other Arrests and Summonses
Gregory Allen, 45, 103 West Highland Ave., Melrose, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 11 on the charge of assault and battery.
