Monday, Oct. 10

8:35 a.m. Report of another couch and mattress have been dumped in area of Penney Road at Penney Hill Road.

11:42 a.m. Report of damage to property on Herbert Street.

1:41 p.m. Report of youths damaging Gooch Park.

8:17 p.m. Report of intoxicated male walking east on Upham Street. A 49-year-old Saugus man was placed into protective custody.

11:26 p.m. Report of vandalism damage to vehicle on Ashland Street.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

10:49 a.m. Identity theft reported from Main Street.

1:35 p.m. Walk-in report from Otis Street of identity theft and larceny.

1:39 p.m. Report of larceny from Upham Street.

2:14 p.m. Forest Street resident reported returning home and discovering bathroom screen cut and window open. Did not appear any entry was made to the home.

4:11 p.m. Stroller stolen. Call came in from Malden PD. Malden caught suspect on Ferry Street. Victim did not wish to pursue charges.

Thursday, Oct. 13

10:03 a.m. Dispute between two workers on Mount Vernon Street.

10:40 a.m. Report of a vehicle accident on Berwick Street. A 55-year-old Melrose resident was issued a summons on the charge of leaving the scene of property damage.

11:16 a.m. Robbery in progress at East Emerson Street and Lebanon Street. Car stereo reportedly stolen from vehicle.

3:01 p.m. Multiple trash dumpings on Swains Pond Avenue.  notified.

3:20 p.m. New trash dumping at on Tremont Street. DPW notified.

12:38 p.m. Tree blocking Maple Terrace and touching electrical wires. DPW notified, hazard removed.

12:59 p.m. Car accident on Main Street, one transported to hospital, car towed.
