Melrose Pop-Up Farmers' Market Today

The following is from the Melrose Farmers' Market:

Today is market day! Join us at the Melrose Family YMCA from 1-4pm in their gymnasium. We'll have live music from the Bohemian's, plus a kid's crafting table.

Check out all our vendors! We have two veggie farms, Oakdale Farmand Farmer Dave's. Other amazing farm and food vendors are The Bread Shop, Pure Pastry, Muddy River Herbals, Laszlo Family Farm, Seven Hills Pasta Co., Roberto's Seafood, Foxboro Cheese, Shady Pine Farm, , La Qchara, Jitter's Cafe, Williams Family Baking Co., Wild Tree, Jennifer Lee's, Deano's Pasta, Hannah's Herbals, The Popover Lady, and the Roasted Granola.

These fantastic artisan, crafters and personal care products: Brooklyn James, Greek Girl Soap, Castle Corner Creations, Rosegold & Rainbows, My Sunday Afternoon, Sarah's Originals, Fire Garden Pottery, and Clothes For A Cause Inc (where you can still buy your 02176 knitted hats to support Housing Families). City Compost will be joining us to speak with people about their composting services.

We have encouraged all of our vendors to take credit/debit and cash, however there will still be a few that only accept cash or check. We are piloting with using market bucks for our SNAP shoppers only. But our vendors will still accept market bucks that you may have in your wallet! For SNAP shoppers, Oakdale and Farmer Dave's will be bringing their HIP terminals and we are matching SNAP up to $5 at the market table. Please note, this is the last market until July 1 that HIP will be matched, as of April 1, the HIP program will be on hold due to funding.

Our last off-season pop-up market will be held at the Healthy Melrose Family Wellness & Fitness event on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 10 - 1:30pm. They are celebrating their 10th year and asked us to host a pop-up market. We are so excited to be bringing farms, fish, meat, dairy and prepared foods to this awesome, healthy event!
