Melrose UU Church Alternative Fair Dec 2 from 10-230pm

Saturday, December 2, 10am - 230pm - ALTERNATIVE FAIR!

The Melrose Unitarian Universalist Church invites all to the Alternative Holiday Fair and Café on Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. The Alternative Fair is an “alternative” to mall shopping and provides a market for interesting handmade items from many countries and from the MUUC Quilting group. Take the Melrose Home For The Holidays trolley to our location! (across from the Public Library)
Fair trade coffee, chocolate and tea are available, local and international charitable causes will also be available for information and will be accepting donations. The Cafe Kitchen will be serving homemade soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch.

NEW! Upcycle your T-shirts into a shopping bag (free!) and learn from NEEECO (neeeco.com) about energy efficiency for your home (both sponsored by the MUUC Green Sanctuary Committee).

There are return-shoppers who say that they look look forward to this particular fair every year because it is so different, focused on the things that matter deeply to them: environmental justice, local shopping, small business, and social outreach, among others.
