#MeToo Melrose? How Can The City Address Powerful Topic

MELROSE, MA — Call it a movement, call it a hashtag, call it a paradigm-shifting cultural earthquake. Call it what you like, but #MeToo has become ubiquitous. Women from all around have been speaking up in exposing sexual harassment, particularly at the workplace, where male-dominated officers (and elsewhere) have seen men take advantage of a position of power.

It would be naive to think Melrose - or any community - has been completely immune to this. Now the Melrose Commission on Women want to address the issue in a safe, welcoming, and productive way.

So the Commission on Women want to know: How would you like to see this powerful topic discussed? Are there particular speakers you'd like to hear from? What is important to focus on?
