New Melrose Restaurant Greets City
Melrose's soon-to-be newest restaurant is replacing Stearns & Hill's Bistro downtown.

MELROSE, MA — There's always a bit of an old-timey feel to the Victorian Fair. Especially when some American Revolutionaries are selling chicken pot pie and pulled pork sandwiches.
The Rising Eagle, Melrose's soon-to-be newest restaurant, got to know the public on Sunday. That's the name of the spot taking over Stearns & Hill's on Main Street. Stearns announced in July it was closing after nearly two decades downtown.
The folks behind Turner's across the street took over the Stearns building. On Sunday, they unveiled what's coming next.
