Photo Gallery: Melrose Boys Lacrosse Falls to Lynnfield

After an impressive 15-2 win against Malden last week, the Melrose High boys lacrosse team dropped a tough, 12-8, decision to visiting Lynnfield on Friday morning at Pine Banks Park. 

Things looked bleak for the Red Raiders as the Pioneers took a commanding 7-1 lead midway through the first half, but Melrose was able to fight back, only to come up short in its comeback bid. 

Melrose has the unenviable task of heading to undefeated Reading on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. game.
