Pine Banks

Pine Banks is a quiet place during the time of passing between winter and spring.

Most of the trees are tall and thin, like telephone poles; some with wispy ever green leaves moving slowly in the gentle breezes.

The roots of some of the larger trees stretch across the leaf covered ground to create a feeling of mystery.

The silent playground adds the bright colors to a between the season's day.

Some people pass pushing children in their carriages and there are always owners walking dogs of various sizes; but it is quiet.

An occasional person alone spends time walking along contemplating a personal problem or just enjoying the peacefulness of the time and place.

The rocks stand majestically as backdrops, some green with age. Scattered all around in many shapes they have been formed by hundreds of seasons.

With a good book I am also transferred to another time and place; moved to a quiet place.
