Teens Charged With Tossing Lit Fireworks Out Window
Melrose Police arrested three teens in the early morning hours on Tuesday on charges of malicious destruction of property, disturbing the peace and unlawful possession of fireworks.

Three 18-year-olds allegedly threw lit fireworks out the window of a Cutter Street home early Tuesday morning, damaging a car and leading to their arrest, according to Melrose Police.
Officers responded to the area at 1:43 a.m. after several reports of fireworks. Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau said after neighbors pointed officers in the direction of a particular Cutter Street home, officer saw the lit fireworks being thrown out the window of the home, which police allege also led to damage of a car next to the house.
Ryan Hardy, Dennis C. Conroy, and Matthew P. Stone—all Melrose residents—were each placed under arrest on charges of malicious destruction of property worth more than $250; disturbing the peace; and unlawful possession of fireworks.
