We are being counted as we enter Market Basket or Shaw's. There are waiting lines at Home Depot and the Dollar store; but we have not gone away.
We had paper plates; we brought our own forks, and picks, and nut crackers. We had plenty of napkins and a big trash bag for shells.

It was a beautiful day at the lake, and boy did we have a great time! It almost seemed real, but the masks went on after we ate and we kept a safe distance between the three of us.
We have not given up on being careful! We are not foolish to think that we are immune to the symptoms of COVED- 19. But we ar e out and plan to continue to do so!
On June 13 we headed for Quannopowitt again, to enjoy the company of eight members of the group
It was a lovely day for being on the water as the kayaks, and sail boats enhanced our view on the fun filled water.
Robins colored the day as they hopped along the grass looking for tidbits.
We kept our distance, wore our masks, and had our ":brought from home lunches."
As some of the restaurants will be serving outdoors, we spoke about where we should go first.
The vote was Chauncey Creek in Kittery Point, Maine (only an hour away). For those of you that know the place it is always outdoor, on the water and lovely for a day trip.
Our trip will wait for July; and as the months go by we wonder when we will be able to take our masks off, and eat inside a restaurant again.
We are a patient group so keep looking for us in the Patch every month.
Take cafe of yourselves and your loved ones and try to do as we do by staying
