March 1st, the beginning of believing that spring is really on the way.
It was a chilly start to the day but we soon got warmed up. Our destination today was the Stoneham theater to see Swan Lake in Blue.; a jazz ballet.
The performance was done in 4 acts with a 15 minute intermission. Except for that 15 minutes the dancing never seemed to stop. The cast was outstanding as they tapped and danced till most of us were exhausted , just from watching them move across the stage.

At 4:00pm we headed to the 99 restaurant in Stoneham to enjoy a great meal, good conversation and even some take home boxes.
We all agreed that it was a great way to start this month.

On March 11th. we had our monthly meeting at the library in Wakefield. This was not our average get together deciding what to do meeting.
Previously we asked to have our room for a longer period of time, so we could Play Games. Yup, games! We enjoyed ourselves with Dominoes, Five Crowns and LCR (Left, center right).
No one made money but it was a fun time to return us to a better time of our youth where games were not held in our hand with our thumbs jumping around. We plan on spending our time doing childless things again, real soon.
On March 17th. we planned on going to Hugh O'Neil's restaurant in Malden to celebrate the wearing of our Red Hats, with a touch of green, but we did cancel because of the Coronavirus situation.
Do not worry, we still celebrated the holiday, and we had a lot of fun.
We met at one of our member's homes, we ordered delicious Corn Beef and Cabbage meals, from Brother's restaurant in Wakefield ; brought appetizers, and had great cookies for dessert. We had lots of laughs and listened to Irish music, compliments of Alexa.
Let it be known, that if we cannot get out to celebrate we just celebrate indoors, and so we did.
At this time, with all things in the world on hold, we wish all of our reader a safe and healthy future. Take care of yourselves and......
