Now that the clock has moved back, and the snow showers are predicted, we approach the winter of our lives.
We have enjoyed seeing Sheryl Faye re-enact the lives of many different famous women; so on November 6th. we went to the Melrose Wakefield Hospital fund raiser to see her once more as she spoke to us as Elinor Roosevelt.
Because of it being an evening performance only a few members ventured out to enjoy the entertainment. The room had about 25 other people in the audience, and we all had an enjoyable evening. We continue to check out Sheryl's schedule to see her perform whenever she is in the area.

November 17th two cars with 10 members headed for Concord Ma to see Funny Girl. The Concord Players did a wonderful performance of the classic play. The songs and dancing were top notch. This was the first of a three set play bill when we will be able to enjoy two more plays; one in February and the last one in May of 2020. This was our first experience seeing the Concord Players but we will plan on seeing them again at their next season run.
Our after theater meal was at the Main Street Bistro were we enjoyed a variety of great food, drinks and fun. This is a small restaurant not far from the playhouse with wonderful wait service and a room full of happy customers.

An unusual evening event for our group, but worth the night time travel.
We hope that your Thanksgiving holiday was a pleasant one spent with family and friends; and we wish for all our readers a happy and healthy December holiday season, however you celebrate it.
May the New Year bring us all good health, happiness and peace.
