The Memory Laners appeared at The Milano Senior Center recently as the summer season was coming to an end.
An indoor barbecue and songs of yesteryear by The Memory Laners (formerly known as The Senior Tones) entertained a crowd of about eighty recently at The Milano Senior Center in Melrose. Why the name change? According to organizer and band member, Howie Conley, "I changed the name when no one in the group could come up with a name. I just threw out Senior Tones and we went with it but never liked the name! This one came up - The Memory Laners and we loved it!" occasionally, a a guest steps in to the act. The group's newest member is Trish McLaughlin.
