Sustainable Saturday Returns August 20 with Focus on Repairs
Melrose event will feature demonstrations of repair techniques, local resources, and free quick bike tune-ups.

For the next Sustainable Saturday, Zero Waste Melrose will share resources and information to help people repair and reuse non-working items.

- Visible mending: An artsy sewing technique that's an easy fix to repair holes or cover stains.
- Multimeter demo: Wondering whether a lamp or electronic items can be fixed? Try a multimeter test.
- Bike maintenance: The Melrose Ped & Bike Committee will do free 15-minute bike tune-up/safety checks. Walk-ups are welcome but sign-ups are encouraged. Sign-up here.
