Tons Of Melrose Road Work This Week And Beyond
Several roads being worked on this week and throughout the fall.

MELROSE, MA — A few Melrose roads will be worked on by the Department of Public Works this week, and a few more are on deck.
Roadwork is scheduled for York Terrace, West Hill, and Aaron Street will be paved. Final paving is expected to be done by Friday.
Work is also starting Monday on Albion Street; Albion and Day Street will be closed this week from Franklin Street to Melrose Street. This will be going on 3-4 weeks and will include roadway reconstruction, some minor drainage work and sidewalk repairs.

Road work on Spear and Hancock Street is expected to kick off around the middle of next week and could be nearly done by early November.
The DPW will be painting traffic lines on Upham Street from Bellevue Avenue to the Saugus city limits Wednesday evening.
