Vandalism Complaints Morning Of Melrose Break-Ins: Police Log
The first call came in around 3:45 a.m. and the last at 6:23 a.m., but a call about the school came some three hours afterward.

Monday, Nov. 26
11:48 a.m. - Caller on Upham concerned about man running.

7:40 p.m. - This man turned himself in on an arrest warrant.
Wednesday, Nov. 28

9:29 a.m. - Caller reports two men walking around neighborhood looking around near Slayton and Cricklewood.
Friday, Nov. 29
3:45 a.m. - Caller reports window broken at Madison Ave. Police notified owner.
5:24 a.m. - Caller reports front window broken at Liberty Bell.
5:30 a.m. - Caller reports window broken at Perella Jewelry. Police noticed multiple holes in window, business owner notified.
6:23 a.m. - Manager at Honey Dew Donuts reports broken window.
9:12 a.m. - Broken first-floor window at Melrose High.

7:56 p.m. - Request for State PD and Saugus to shutdown Route 1 South at Route 99 because of pedestrian fatally struck. Victim has since been identified.
