VIDEO: Police Raid Simulated Drug House in Reading

Thirteen police officers from 20 communities—including Melrose—bashed open the door of a Reading home on Thursday as part of a drug raid simulation.

The simulations culminated a two-week class in which the participating officers, haling from communities as far away as Barnstable, learned about many aspects of drug enforcement.

Many of the officers perform undercover work, and, for that reason, we have limited the appearance of their faces in the above video.

Participating communities: Waltham, Barnstable, Peabody, Medford, Milton, Reading, Wellesley, Malden, Melrose, Cambridge, Medfield, Walpole and Watertown.
