The Worklery to Host Good Morning with Mayor Featuring Bohemian Coffee

As part of the City’s Good Morning with the Mayor tour, Bohemian Coffeehouse will have a pop-up coffee shop at The Worklery, the recently rebranded co-working event space and art gallery situated in the heart of downtown Melrose, on Friday, April 8 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Melrose resident Melissa (“Mel”) Landon launched The Worklery, formerly known as The WorkLoft, in November 2021 to support Melrose and surrounding communities including other local entrepreneurs.

Landon offered to host the next Good Morning with the Mayor at The Worklery to support the locally owned Bohemian Coffeehouse, which does not currently offer indoor dining. At the pop-up, Bohemian Coffeehouse owner Hillary Poravas said they will offer their famous homemade baked goods as well as coffee for sale.

“I love community building and applaud Paul's willingness to get out and interact with fellow Melrosians,” said Landon. “Several years ago, my husband and I lived in a town where I
knew no one and working from home made it nearly impossible to meet people. I stumbled on a community-focused co-working space, and it changed my life. I’m thrilled I could bring this concept here to Melrose and provide a space for the Melrose community to work and
connect with each other while also supporting the City’s initiative.”

The Bohemian Coffeehouse pop-up at The Worklery will be the seventh stop on Brodeur’s coffee shop tour that consists of visiting a different Melrose cafe every Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. The Worklery is located on the third floor of 441 Main Street, Melrose.
