Your Melrose Weather: Week Starts Off Hot, Then Turns Wet

It’s a big vacation week for many coming off the Fourth of July weekend, but it might be a little wet.

Warm weather starts the week with highs in the upper 80s. There’s a chance of rain Tuesday, which will hang around Wednesday and could be back Friday.

Here’s a look at this week’s forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

• Monday: Partly cloudy starting in the afternoon, continuing until evening with a high of 84 and a low of 65.

• Tuesday: Drizzle could start in the afternoon and continue into the evening, with a high of 83 and a low of 64.

• Wednesday: Plan for light rain throughout the day. The high will be 84 and the low, 69.

• Thursday: The forecast calls for clouds throughout the day with a 49-percent chance of rain. The high will be 81, and the low is set for 64.

• Friday: Things will be partly cloudy until afternoon, with a high of 81 and a low of 69.
