Any student who is a U.S. citizen, a Massachusetts resident, and at least 18 years old can register during this drive. Students who are at least 16 years old can pre-register using the same form; once they turn 18, local election officials will automatically register them to vote.
Students who are not able to register during the drive -- or anyone else who wishes to register or update their registration -- can do so using forms available on the Massachusetts Secretary of State's website or with their town's clerk. In order to vote in this November's midterm elections, new voter registrations must be postmarked by Wednesday, Oct. 17.
