Milford Delays Property Tax Deadline Due To Coronavirus
Many towns and cities in Massachusetts are pushing back tax due dates to help people struggling during the coronavirus crisis.
MILFORD, MA — Milford residents will get an additional month to pay property taxes, the Board of Selectmen decided on Monday. The reprieve comes as residents across the state are struggling financially due to the coronavirus crisis.
Property tax bills were set to be due on May 1, but that has now been pushed back to June 1. Cities and towns across the state are pushing back tax deadlines under an emergency relief law signed by Gov. Charlie Baker shortly after the outbreak began.
Milford Town Hall is closed due to coronavirus, but residents can make payments online on the town website.
