Milford Farmers Market to Relocate Saturday Due to Dilla Street Work

Shoppers of the Milford Farmers Market will need to go to a familiar location this weekend.

The market announced Friday morning that it will be held at Milford Town Hall, 52 Main St. on Saturday, Aug. 23 due to current resurfacing work on Dilla Street during the weekend.

The Milford Farmers Market was previously held at the Milford Town Hall, but moved its location to the parking lot of the Milford Water Company, 66 Dilla St., this year. Market organizers said they plan to return to the Dilla Street lot next weekend.

The road work on Dilla Street involves “hot-in-place” resurfacing taking place on Friday and Saturday.

Market shoppers are in for a little something extra this weekend, too, as the Milford Town Library plans to host a book sale on Saturday.
