MILFORD, MA — A Milford man is facing multiple charges including several counts of drug possession after a police investigation led officers to him. The investigation started on March 7 after people in the South Bow Street and Central Street neighborhood complained to police.
Two officers went to the area and saw the drug deals happen, according to police. After witnessing the sale, they went to School Street to "conduct a threshold inquiry," according to a statement released by police, of a man and woman who they knew from previous interactions. While the officers questioned the pair, the man, identified as Shawn Davis of South Bow Street, shoved one of the officers and took off.
The officers followed him down School Street and into the backyard of a home where they were able to arrest him. According to police, Davis resisted the officers taking him into custody. When he was searched officers found three small bags of crack, three small bags of cocaine, two cell phones and $37 in cash.
