Milford Officer Recognized for Life-Saving Efforts

Officer Robbie Tusino was recognized for reversing a drug overdose and, later, saving the life of a child.

The Milford Police Department this week recognized one of its own for 

Officer Robbie Tusino was noted for reversing a drug overdose using Narcan, saving the individual's life in the process. Just hours later, Tusino saved a 2-year-old who was choking, according to Milford Police

"Although he works closely with our partners and friends at the  Milford Fire Department and Community Ambulance, it is important to note that Officer Robbie Tusino is the only paramedic authorized to work alone in Massachusetts," Milford Police said in a statement. "In the past six years, he has saved the lives of numerous people in need."
