Milford Police Arrest Two on Heroin Charge

Two more people face heroin trafficking charges after in investigation by the Milford Police Department.

Jose Ferran, 36, of Lynn and Luis Lara, 61, of Dorchester, were arrested on Redwood Drive and charged with trafficking in heroin.

Police say the arrest came after an extended investigation. DEA Worcester HIDTA Track Forcer, State Police detectives, Hopedale Police detectives, and Hopkinton Police detectives assisted with the arrest.

Investigators seized 66 grams of heroin and impounded a 2012 Toyota Camry during the arrest.

This is second major heroin arrest this week in Milford and the fourth since mid-October. On October 13, a Lynn man was arrested, three more were taken into custody on Oct. 20, and four were arrested earlier this week.
