Milford Selectmen Make Changes To Voting For 2020 Town Election
Voting hours will be reduced, and the town will only have one polling place for the June 2020 Milford town election.

MILFORD, MA — There are some big changes in store for the rescheduled spring town election due to the coronavirus.
On Monday night, the Board of Selectmen voted to make Milford High School the sole polling place for the June 16 election. That means old precinct-based voting locations will be closed on Election Day.
In-person voting hours will also be reduced, the Selectmen decided. Voting will take place from noon to 8 p.m. instead of the usual start time of 7 a.m.

Cities and towns are encouraging citizens to vote by mail — also called absentee voting — this spring to avoid having to go to a polling place at all. The Milford Town Clerk is encouraging all voters to vote early by mail this year. A guide on how to do that can be found on the Clerk's website.
