Milford Senior Center, Nonprofit Send Letters To Troops

MILFORD, MA — A Milford nonprofit and the senior center teamed up recently to send letters to Massachusetts troops stationed abroad.

The nonprofit Thanks To Yanks and Milford Senior Center clients sent cards and letters thanking troops from the 182nd infantry battalion of the Massachusetts National Guard, who are serving in the Middle East.

"Letting those who serve know that they are appreciated and not forgotten is a prime mission of Thanks To Yanks," nonprofit founder Mike Shain said.
