Milford Store Robbed At Knifepoint; Suspect On The Loose
Pete's Market was robbed at knifepoint by a masked man.

MILFORD, MA — Milford police are searching for a masked man who robbed a local convenience store at knifepoint on Wednesday night. The robbery happened just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday at Pete's Market on Purchase Street. No one was hurt during the robbery, but the man did get away with the cash.
A man walked into the store just as the cashier was getting ready to close up for the night. The man was wearing a dark blue or black winter mask and pointed a knife at the cashier on duty, demanding all the cash in the register. Police said the cashier was shaken by the incident but got a good look at the man, who wore a black face mask to hide his identity. The cashier told police the man had brown eyes, was about six feet tall and of a medium build.
Along with the mask, the man wore black gloves, a black sweatshirt and white track pants. Once the cashier handed over the money, the man ran out of the front door and then to the left and towards the back of the building, according to the police report. Police estimate about $2,000 was stolen from the register.
