The Milford Performing Arts Center (MPAC) in cooperation with WMRC AM 1490 is preparing for their first ever telethon which will air on Milford TV Comcast Channel 11 / Verizon Channel 40 on Sunday April 13th from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
During the 6 hour telethon MPAC will showcase clips from past and current shows, singers, choral groups, improv groups, and drama groups that all study at the center. Alums will also be performing and interviewed as well as some surprise notable guests. You can also watch local bands and singer/ songwriters who participate in MPAC's monthly coffee house.
Excerpts from the recent all-faculty performance of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” will be performed by Milford Public Schools employees.

MPAC hopes to raise money to update equipment including sound equipment, costumes, and signs as well as use the money to keep the costs of their programs down so that they will be available to anyone with a love of the arts.
