Police Log: Erratic Driver Reported, Tractor-Trailer Knocks Down Sign

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Feb. 17

At 6:41 a..m, Milford police responded to Dunkin' Donuts on Main Street after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. Three cars were involved, according to police records, but no one was injured. 

At 7:36 a.m., police responded to the area of Glines Avenue and Purchase Street after receiving a report of a sign knocked down by a tractor-trailer driving through the area. Police notified the Milford highway department.

At 11:47 a.m., police responded to a report of what appeared to be suspicious activity involving a tractor-trailer and a black SUV in the lot of Lowe's  on Fortune Boulevard. Upon arrival police determined that the truck belonged to the SUV driver.

At 4:04 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of East Main Street and Cedar Street, where a white Ford F-150 truck was seen pulling another vehicle with a rope.

At 4:21 p.m., police responded to the area of Cedar Street and East Main Street on a report of an accident involving two cars, and subsequently charged a 22-year-old Milford man for driving without a license and for failing to use care while starting, stopping and backing up while in a vehicle. 

At 9:22 p.m., police received a report of an erratic driver on Main Street, where a silver Acura was seen slowing down then gaining speed.

At 9:37 p.m., police received a report from employees of Rite Aid Pharmacy that a customer gave a false prescription.
