3:23 p.m.: Police arrested two people following a State Police report of a domestic disturbance at 81 East Main St. William Conti, 26, of 50 Mellen St., Framingham, and Melissa S. Woodsum, 22, of 22 Lee St., Milford, were both charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct. During and after booking, Conti continued to be belligerent and uncooperative at the station, according to a police report on the incident, and after being placed in the holding cell, removed his shirt and attempted to hang himself and also tried to cover the cell surveillance camera with wet toilet paper. Several hours later, at 8:02 p.m., an officer found Conti looking sluggish and unresponsive in his cell, prompting police to call emergency medical personnel to the station. Conti was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center, where, while being examined by doctors, officers noticed he was holding a small plastic bag. That bag was found to contain two small pills later identified as Klonopin (a seizure medication also used to reduce anxiety), and police issued Conti a summons charging him with possession of a Class E substance. He was later returned to the Police Department after being examined by doctors.
