Police Log: Several Vehicles Broken Into, Items Stolen from Within
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.
Monday, March 24
At 1:51 a.m., Milford Police responded to Sal's Garage on South Main Street after receiving a report that a vehicle was started by remote starter, as there were no keys located in the ignition. Officers were able to shut the car off and turn the lights off; the front door of the vehicle was ajar, and police checked the area.
At 9:01 a.m., police receive a report that a vehicle was broken into on Lawrence Street, with a wallet reportedly stolen from within.

At 9:02 a.m., police received a report that a vehicle was broken into overnight on Mystic Lane and that a purse was stolen from within.
At 3:20 p.m., police received a report that a man was seen stealing scrap metal in the area of Milton Cat on Quarry Drive.

At 3:33 p.m., police received a report that a man threw a computer monitor on the ground in the lot of CVS on South Main Street.
At 5:54 p.m., a man reported to police that his vehicle was broken into on Mystic Lane during the overnight hours.
