Senator, Rep Honor Milford Regional Medical Center, HomeGoods

Senators handed out "citations" for those who partnered with Crossroads Clubhouse.

MILFORD, MA—On Wednesday morning, Senator Ryan Fattman and Representative Kevin Kuros visited the HomeGoods in Milford and the Milford Regional Medical Center to present Senate citations. The citations honored both employers for partnering with Crossroads Clubhouse in their employment opportunity program and for giving opportunities to individuals with disabilities, according to the announcement.

Crossroads Clubhouse is an employment and recovery center that offers people with mental health conditions opportunities to reach their full potential, continues the press release. The organization achieves this by providing four basic rights: a guaranteed right to a place to come, a guaranteed right to meaningful work, a guaranteed right to meaningful relationships, and a guaranteed right to a place to return. By doing this members gain access to opportunities to connect with community, employment, education and friendships; and are enabled to take ownership of their own recovery. The organization places a strong emphasis on positive reintegration into the community.
