5 Injured As Car Careens Into Woods Off I-93 in Milton: Reports

One of the five was critically injured, according to media reports.

MILTON, MA — A car careened off Interstate 93 in Milton, injuring five occupants, according to media reports.

"State police say troopers reported there were serious injuries after they were called to the crash, involving one vehicle, around 3 a.m., near Exit 3 on the northbound side of the highway," NBC reported.

"At least one of the occupants was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries," according to 7 News Boston.

The car ended up in the woods off the side of the highway, per MassLive.

The on-ramp was shut down while rescue crews worked the scene, hoodline reported, with the ramp reopening later in the morning.
